Microbiological efficacy

Bioburden is a term used to describe the number of microorganisms present on an object’s surface, within it or in a portion of liquid before and after a sterilization process. The analysis evaluates contamination from raw materials, the environment, the manufacturing process and the efficacy of the sterilization method used.
